Welcome to Sea Witch's Cavern, please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Sea Witch's Cavern website.
- Please note that handmade items can vary slightly in size and colour. While every effort is made to represent the products accurately, images shown may vary slightly from the actual product.
- Payment Processing: Your security is important to us, therefore we use Paypal, the leader in online secure payment, as our payment processor. Via their secure webserver you can pay by debit, credit card or instant bank transfer. Please always keep a copy of payment receipts in case of queries.
- Overseas Customers: We can only accept payment via Paypal from overseas customers and all payments must be made in GBP.
- Customs Fees - Customers are responsible for any customs fees or any other fees charged by government in their respective country in addition to the shipping fee. We are unable to predict which shipments will be assessed for fees or the amount of the fee that might be charged. Please check customs regulations in your country.
- UK Customers: Can pay by Paypal, cheque or postal order but we do reserve the right to dispatch goods only after cheque payments have cleared, which can take up to 7 working days.
- VAT - At present Sea Witch's Cavern is not VAT registered therefore all prices have been calculated without the addition/inclusion of VAT or any other sales tax. There is nothing to be gained for us or you by us registering for VAT until we have too.
- Stock: Every effort is made to keep stock level information accurate at all times but in the event of an item being out of stock you will be notified and you be will given a choice of whether you wish to wait for additional stock to be obtained or have a refund. (Stock levels can been seen on the main detail page of a product.)
- Customer Service: Your queries, comments and feedback are important to us and we will reply personally as soon as possible, normally within 24 hours.
SHIPPING
- At present we ship goods to the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia and Europe. Additional Countries can be added if required, please contact us using the contact form in the About Company drop down menu.
- Shipping is calculated automatically on the weight of the item(s).
- UK Shipping - Parcels up to a weight of 1kg are delivered by First Class Royal mail. Over 1kg parcels are delivered using Royal Mail Standard Delivery which, should be delivered within 3 to 5 working days of postage.
- Overseas Shipping - Parcels up to a weight of 2kg are delivered by Royal Mail's Airmail service and should be delivered within 7 working days of postage. Over 2kg parcels are delivered using Parcel Force's International Standard Parcel service. Delivery is from 5 working days from postage. It might be more cost effective to split heavier orders into more than one delivery using Royal Mail's Airmail service.
- Insurance - A certificate of posting is obtained for all goods up to the value of £34 and they are automatically insured for this amount. Orders with a higher value will be insured at no extra charge to you.
- Dispatch - Orders will be processed and dispatched within 2 working days of cleared payment Monday to Friday.
RETURNS
At Sea Witch's Cavern we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items
- In the event of any of your purchases being faulty or damaged on arrival we are happy to accept returns and either give you a full refund or send a replacement product.
- Please email us before returning items by clicking here
- Faulty or damaged items must be returned within 14 days in the original packaging and a certificate of postage or other applicable insurance must be obtained when items are returned. If returned items go missing in the post a refund will not be given, you will have to claim compensation from Royal Mail.
- By law, customers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven days of the day after the date the item is delivered.
You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for custom hand-crafted items. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us if you cancel your contract to purchase any other items within seven days of delivery. If items had tags these must still be attached and goods must be in a clean and saleable condition when returned. Earrings can not be returned because of hygene and safety reasons. Items must be returned within 14 days and a certificate of postage, at least, must be obtained when items are returned so that if they get lost in the post you can claim.
If items are over £34 in value then you will need to return them using the Special Delivery service to be insured against loss. The buyer pays return postage. Refunds will be given once the item has been received.
